    Noisy Xbox One?


    I bought an Xbox One in the week it came out for around £449.99 I think... and I've recently bought a new Sunset Overdrive White Xbox One... (Don't judge me 'cos I have 2), haha! Anyway, the old black one is much louder than the white one... is there a reason
    for this? The white one makes literally no sound at all, but the black one is really loud... and they're both set to 'instant on' mode or whatever it's called... so I'm confused...?

    Xbox One S fan noise

    hey guys is it Normal for the Xbox One S to have a noisy fan because my Xbox One S has the noisy fan and I don't know if this is normal or not

    Has the Xbox One "Fan" issue calmed down?

    It is quite normal to be able to hear the fan from 2-3 feet away.

    That is actually quite close to the console.

    No console this powerful can be silent.

    I have 4 games consoles and not one is silent.

    My 360 is noisy as hell.

    My ps4 is noisy

    My ps3 is noisy

    and so is my xbox one.

    My ps4 is a lot louder than my xbox one and I can easily hear them both from more than 3 foot away.

    That does not comply with what Microsoft states in their press releases of 10-09-2014. Claiming that there are consoles out there that produce to much noise and that Microsoft WILL exchange them for NEW consoles. My white console is having noise issues of
    what Microsoft is fully aware of and has confirmed this.

    If I send in my console like you suggest I will not get a NEW console now do I? I have the feeling that I'm simply being brushed to the curb where I am simply requesting the service Microsoft is saying they would provide to these specific customers. My Xbox
    is not even a month old and i kindly request you/microsoft to own up to it's promise.

    Other than a factory reset , I don't know of anything else you could try...if it is a fan or hard drive , it would need repaired unless the factory reset fixes it (a software glitch might MAKE the fan or hard drive act crazy)...worth a shot I believe...
    all this assumes you have already powered down the console and unplugged everything for 5 minutes or so...
