noisy xbox one when not playing games

I have received a console through the advance exchange and the horrible noise is still there but, its not as loud and erratic as it was, still annoying. Seems if there was a fix its maybe helped a bit but still needs to be sorted. Maybe the xbox
one needs to be remade without the power of Kinect, in mind considering this is what the problem is it seems but I am no technician. Its good now Microsoft has acknowledged a noise problem but would be nice to hear some sort of explanation from Microsoft
to know why or how this is happening exactly. I got my console months ago with connect but never plugged it in and had to wait this long for the xbox one without connect to come out for Microsoft to acknowledge the problem, luckily! Didn't Microsoft or anyone
ever test the xbox one without connect? I am sure I have now had at least 6 or 7 different xbox ones exchanged, and from the shop. Also I tried to get my money back from the shop but they said they couldn't hear it, probably because they had connect plugged
in, I feel so conned. Really I would like some money back or compensation for all this. aaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhh. this is stressful and depressing, I am not giving up though, I knew there would be some technical issues but *** that noise could drive someone
insane. maybe I should make a twitter account and put this message to phil spencer or someone and see what they say but they probably wont.

Extremely noisy Xbox One when playing games.

Hi,

My Xbox one is making an extremely noisy buzzing sound while I play games on it (regardless of whether the games are on-disc or digital titles). This buzzing is not present when in the main menu screen or navigating apps. I think there is something wrong
with the unit, possibly faulty hardware? Can this be repaired or checked?

It isn't the fan, and there are no unsecured objects in or around the device. It sounds similar to crickets chirping. It is distinct from the fan noise (which I can hear occasionally when booting games etc).

 

and you do not need to create multiple threads with just one subject. doesn't help most the time. Just thought to mention that.

 

ok I don't really post stuff on forums, think this is actually my 1st! thought it would be easier to put all the problems I have had all in one, in one place. I get what your saying though. Didn't really think about that at the time!

 

I just hope all goes well for you. Just thought I would give my thoughts no your predicament.
