Noisy console (fan, maybe?)

Hello.

The first console I bought suffered from the familiar faulty disc drive, so I sent it back and got it fixed.

Since then, I have perceived that the console in general is too noisy. Maybe it's the fan? I'm not sure.

Then, yesterday the disc drive would not read any discs (games, bluray). I turned it off, then on again and it worked fine then. It had never done this before. Now I am worried because the warranty expires in one month and maybe yesterday was a sign that
the disc drive is starting to not work properly.

I don't know if the issues are related or not.

Any suggestions about what to do?

You may have to register your console online and check the warranty, sometimes where you purchased it will allow for exchange, if not you will follow these steps.

Original Xbox 360 console with three flashing red lights or error E74: Three years from the console purchase date (not applicable to the Xbox 360 S console)

Kinect sensor: One year

Accessories: 90 days

Yes, it's been laying flat the whole time I've owned it.

 

If you are getting a noisy console, I would honestly set up a repair. You are getting the tale tell signs of a defective console, and it would be a good idea to send it in before the console warranty is up.
