    Noisier fan after inserting disc

Hi, I was wondering if it's normal that the fan gets a little bit noisier after inserting a disc and then, after some minutes, gets normal. And is it recommendable to use a disc copy as less as possible?

    :)

Is it true about the power block

It's not difficukt to change the air in a small space quickly, maybe its just well designed. smaller fans are noisier though.

What console are you using Xbox One, S or X

My Origianl Xbox One did that and was running fine. I now have the X and it does not seem to do it.

The disc on the Xbox One is just an installation medium and a "proof of purchase". When you insert a disc, the complete game is installed to the hard drive, and is exactly the same as the downloaded version, with the only exception, that it doesn't have
a license certificate that proves you "own" the game.

That's where the disc comes in.

Whenever you start a game you installed from disc, the console simply checks a small security sector on the disc, and the rest of the game is run off the hard drive.

No actual game data is ever read from the disc after the installation.

So it makes no difference if you run a game from disc after installation or as a download.

Maybe you are mistaking the noise you hear from the disc drive spinning up and detecting the disc?

  6. Sounds like he optical drive is spinning up to check if the disk is inserted. Some game and movie disk are mildly unbalanced and can be a little noisier when they spin up, and also take longer to spin down. Usually not an issue.

That is a normal spinning disk check in the console. I have the same sound when I play one of my games using the disk. Sometimes the sound will be different but it won't cause any issue on the console.
