Noise when Xbox Series X turns on

Those two quiet ticks are also present on the Xbox One S/X, which has the same disc drive as the Series X. Those ticks are most likely the disc drive setting itself up, and you don't need to worry about. If, for some reason something does goes wrong, Microsoft is there to help you out in getting your console fixed if necessary.

Difficult to say if it's a faulty drive or simply a loud drive. However, I would suggest to remove the power cable fully from the console wait a moment, connected it back up and try to power it back up.

Doesn't seem like a normal sound, but could be that you have a disc inside and the surface isn't flat, if that's not the case

Hi, when playing Fortnite my fan goes into hyperdrive. It is so noisy I have to turn the volume up and the fan noise can be heard downstairs. When playing any other game the noise disappears,

It is in a ventilated area, cleaned but no change. The Xbox series x has also turned itself off twice recently.

Any advice please
