Nobody can hear me in game/party chat any ideas?

My old headset stopped working a few days ago... I still can hear people but they can't hear me. So i bought a new headset a Turtle Beach Four OX which came with the adapter. I've tried it but still didn't work so i bought a new controller. None of my controllers
or headsets are broken and still people can't hear me. Anyone any idea? I've updated my controller about 10 times already. restarted my xbox to the factory setting and rebooted my xbox, and the worst is that Microsoft doesn't give a single ***... Opened a
chat multiple times and they just close it...

xbox one mic not working with controller

Same problem here - I can hear others in party chat but not in game, nobody can hear me at all!!

 

Xbox Party Chat

I know there's a few guides etc but this problem seems to be a bit of a unique one.

When I join a party, the Party app at the side picks up that I am talking, yet nobody can actually here me - I can't hear them either.. Despite being in Party chat, people in a game can hear me and I can hear them. Switching between game chat and party chat
makes no difference.

My friends say their Xbox's show my mic isn't plugged in - however it is plugged in, and kinect wont let me talk in the party either. I've tried turning on and off, my NAT type is open and even tried communicating with no games in the background but again this
is fruitless. Nobody that I am trying to communicate with is currently blocked either.

Party chat DOES work occasionally, but this is a rarity and can go off at anytime. Any suggestions?

 

I've had the same problem. Sometimes my mic works, sometimes it doesn't.

Thanks ^.^ Well i've had this since Thursday i think and my microphone hasn't worked since then. Only kinect i can talk but i prefer a headset.
