When you set up the Windows Media Center Extender, did you uninstall the Windows Media Center Extender

as described here and they try setting it up again? Also, do these movies show cover art when in the int Media Center or is it not displaying artwork in either app? And when playing these videos through the Media Center app, are you on a wired or wireless
connection? Do you notice a difference through various connection setups? Let us know. Thanks.

Officially, Windows Media Center was discontinued in Windows 10.

However, some die-hard fans for Media Center created some unofficial guides on how to add Media Center back into Windows 10.

Be aware however, that the Anniversary Update broke Cable Tuner support and has issues with DRM.

Unfortunately, Windows Media Center was removed from Windows 10, and you will not be able to connect your XBox 360 to it. If you still have a Windows 8 machine around, Windows Media Center is an available purchase in the store for 10 or 20 bucks.

There are people who try to desperately patch WMC back into Windows 10, but there are no guarantees about its success or your operating system's stability after doing so.

Are you trying to connect your PC via the System Video Player app or are you trying to set up a Windows Media Center connection? If you see the PC listed in your System Media Player app, you can add other PC's to it but you can not disable one from showing
