No xbox one demo?

Every other platform, including xbox 360, gets a demo . . . but not the xbox one?

It's at least nice of Microsoft to continue to confirm for me I made the right choice in not making a day 1 purchase of the xbox one.

XBOX No One

An Xbox 360 isn't a Rolex watch, gold or property. It's a gaming console. Why at any point would you think it's an investment?

They have not just changed the port on the controller they have improved the underlying technology. Sure that means some old equipment will not work but the new technology produces better results. Sound quality for example.

 

There is a glitch on the Xbox website store that causes it to hide downloadable demos for Xbox one. Since I prefer using the Xbox website for these purchases because it is the most efficient input method, I didn't realize what was going on until now.

Try searching for your game demos using the Xbox One's store. For example, search for Screamride and see what results you get on the Xbox store website (xbox.com). In my case I only see Screamride for purchase for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, plus a downloadable
demo for Xbox 360 ONLY; When I use my Xbox One's store and use the search term "screamride demo", I locate the Xbox One demo right away. It also works if using the smartphone app, but not remotely.

So I think the website store is filtering store results for some reason.

Maybe there is the risk of console ambiguity on Xbox One that doesn't exist on Xbox 360. On the 360, your purchase goes to your designated console, not to secondary or friends' consoles. I'm just speculating that Microsoft hasn't yet worked this out for
Xbox One.... Work in progress?

 

Forget my last paragraph of speculation. There should be no difference between purchasing a demo and purchasing a game for Xbox One. This has to be a bug in the website design.

 

My responses are in general about the Xbox store. I see that Halo: Spartan Assault doesn't have a demo
