    No Xbox live services for the third day.


    Was fixed yesterday. Now back to the connected to the Internet but no Xbox live. Can you cancel my auto renewal on the 12th of October for Xbox live. I don't want to pay for something I don't have access to. Please find a way to make up for the days paid
    for and lost due to the screw ups being on your side of things.

    Unless there's an third party program available that we couldn't even tell you about because it's against the Xbox.com and Xbox Live terms of service, no. There isn't away.

    Crippling down time needs compensation

    Service has been intermittent but other than for a few hours of social issues, no part of Xbox Live has been down for 10 days. The Terms of Use say there will be no compensation for network issues with Live. I haven't spent more than $30 US for a year of
    Live in the last 3 years. There are deals out there every day.

    From the TOU:

    6. Service Availability.

    a. The Services, Third-Party Apps and Services, or material or products offered through the Services may be unavailable from time to time, may be offered for a limited time, or may vary depending on your region or device. If you change the location associated
    with your Microsoft account, you may need to re-acquire the material or applications that were available to you and paid for in your previous region.

    b. We strive to keep the Services up and running; however, all online services suffer occasional disruptions and outages, and Microsoft is not liable for any disruption or loss you may suffer as a result. In the event of an outage, you may not be able to
    retrieve Your Content or Data that you’ve stored. We recommend that you regularly backup Your Content that you store on the Services or store using Third-Party Apps and Services.

    Sorry to hear you're having issues with the service. Have you tried power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down then, while it's turned off unplug your modem/router for 5 seconds to power cycle it as well?

    Also, are you connected wireless or via ethernet? A wireless connection is not as stable as a wired and this is not due to the console but most times from the wireless hardware.

    However, if you would still like to cancel your membership you can either do that from the settings menu on the console or by contacting phone support. 1-800-469-9269 if you live in North America.

    I was on the phone with support a support tech yesterday. Yes all steps have been taken to reset the console. Again this was fixed yesterday and has once again happened. I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the preview program. New dashboard is great
    when the system works correctly.

    What I'm going to do here is ask that you post this issue to the preview forums so the developers know what's happening. They should be able to help you out further.

    I was on the phone with support a support tech yesterday. Yes all steps have been taken to reset the console. Again this was fixed yesterday and has once again happened. I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the preview program. New dashboard is great
