No XBOX Live as old card is constantly debited, not new card.

To cut a long story short: My old card was stolen, thus when it came renewal time Xbox Gold could not be renewed. I followed the instructions and added a new card, cancelled auto-renewal (to stop the old card being debited) and moved the Xbox Gold Sub to
the new card. The billing system keeps trying to bill the old card, and won't allow its removal, or attempt to bill the new card. I was told to log in to xbox.com but my account always shows "Profile Loading" thus I am stuck with the old Live Billing System.

I live in the UK so can't ring America, but I'm confident Xbox support could remove the old card and stop the problem. I've been without Live for my 360 and One since November now due to this rather daft glitch, which was created by following the exact process
listed by MS Support for removing old cards with subs on, and moving them to new cards.

I'd really appreciate some help, but as I say the Billing system is stuck in a deadly embrace of repeatedly trying the old card, and ignores the new card, and the fact the sub was moved to the new card.

Credit cards. Be careful all of you debit card users. Credit cards are insured, debit cards are not.

 

Update: When I log in to Xbox.com after sitting on a blank Web Page with "Continue" as the title I get the following error message:

Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.

It appears you've found a glitch in the system.

The reason I am trying to log in to my account on Xbox.com is as I was told I would have access to more options than the old Live Billing page which is stuck charging the old card (as detailed above). Every option in my account on the Live system simply
states "Contact Support" which the FAQ Guides do not cater to (I should be able to stop the sub charging the old card as I have added a new card according to the FAQ's, but this is not the case). It's just a big mess.

 

Thank You to the silent Support Worker who cancelled the Gold Subscription that was stuck charging the stolen card, and wouldn't move to my new card (despite following the MS FAQ for this very eventuality).

It would have been nice to have got an email or similar, but thank you, whoever you are. My (New) Live Subscription went through on my new card, so fingers crossed it will all start working again once the service has settled down after that Hacking mess-up
over Christmas.
