  1. No Wireless Networks Found?

I was disconnected from Xbox Live today and upon trying to reconnect through the guide menu, I received an error message informing me that
'no wireless networks could be found' and prompted me to 'try connecting a wireless network adapter and try again'. From the Network Settings menu, I can see no networks available and
only have the option to select either Wired Network or Wireless Network, selecting either providing the same error message as before. I also
don't have the option to press the 'X' button the scan for additional networks from this menu. This is the first time I have encountered this problem and my connection had been working fine prior to the error.

I have entered my BTHomeHub5's settings and checked everything is still how it was before when it worked and everything is still in accordance except that in my wireless network tree wherein I can see all connected devices, my Xbox 360 is disconnected.
No profile on my console could connect to live so I checked if my console had been banned to which I found
no enforcement had been applied to my console.

I understand this problem is potentially quite confusing so I apologise! I am however open to any suggestions and help as I'm simply out of ideas.

    Thanks a million!

    Kyle

Just to test if the wireless adapter is defective: On your PC enter the configuration website of your router, and TEMPORARILY turn OFF the encryption of your WLAN.

With the encryption turned off, let the console scan for your network. If it is able to connect to the unencrypted network, try to use WEP, then WPA for an encryption and see if that still works.

If even the unencrypted WLAN doesn't work, the WLAN adapter might be defective.
