No wireless networks coming up

Discus and support No wireless networks coming up in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; when i try and find a wireless connection it wont pick one up so im unable to find and connect to a wireless network how do i fix this...     when i try and find a wireless connection it wont pick one up so im unable to find and connect to a wireless network how do i fix this

    Hardware Problem

    My Xbox One is not connecting via wireless at the moment and this is message that is coming up, can anyone help?

    Sorry, the wireless network hardware on this console is not working?

    xb1s cant connect to my internet

    i booted up my xbox one s a while ago to play with some friends (i used my ipad to know they were online and it had fine internet to xbox servers and my modem) and i cant choose to go to my friends list i go down to setting and it says connect to xbox live
    i think okay must of just disconnected last night, i go to connect and it says im not even set up to my wireless network i think okay maybe there was an update, now i click set up wireless network and it has no networks coming up only add new network, it asks
    me for my networks SSID and i put it in, it says checking connection, then it says cannot connect to your wireless network, now it has all the usual wireless problem fixers but the thing is my ipad and every other electronic in my household can connect to
    the network and my bedroom (where my tv and xbox are located) has no Ethernet port. so im just wondering what would cause the SSID to cause the cannot connect to wireless network if the network is running fine?

    scanning for wireless networks...

    my network name doesn't come up, so I can't even go onto 'configure network'

    plus it's a built in wireless so I can't unplug anything... :(

    Settings, network, network settings, disconnect wireless. Then settings, network, network settings, set up wireless network.

    Settings- Network Settings- Set up Wireless Network- Choose "your wireless"- Input password

    I Have Try'd It Hasn't Resolved It what Happens Is When I Go On Settings, Network Settings, The It Comes Up With Available Networks(Wired.......Wireless Network) And When I Click On Wired It Comes Up With Please Insert An Ethernet Cable And I Have Unplugged
    And Plugged It Back In And Still Does It, The Ethernet Cable Works Fine Though So I Am Confused :/

    It comes from not only my experience with the Xbox, but the fact that I know a couple people in Support that do networking for the Xbox. Wireless N is good for shorter distances, and most people don't have their Xboxes close to their router while doing wireless.
    Wireless G is less affected by wireless interference. Wireless N on 5 Ghz is ideal in most set ups, but the internal network adapter on the Xbox is 2.4 Ghz only and gets the best signal from G with that.
