No wireless network after update !!!!

Since getting the update yesterday .. We have had nothing but problems again .. This time it's saying we have no wireless network won't even let us use a wired network .. We have tried the hard reboot and cycle of both router and Xbox but nothing is working
can anyone help please .. as we can't use the xbox which is very frustrating :-(

How to Configure and test your Xbox 360 wireless Internet connection

After you have connected the Xbox 360 Wireless Connecting Adapter to your original Xbox 360 console, you have to configure and test the wireless connection.

Steps to Follow

1. On your controller, press the Guide button and proceed to Settings, then choose System Settings.

2. Go to Network Settings then select the name of your wireless network.

Note: If you do not find your wireless network, go to Advanced Options and then select Specify Unlisted Network. Proceed to enter the name of your wireless network, after which you will be asked to select the security type.

3. Enter your wireless network password.

4. You will get a prompt to update your console software. Select Yes.

Still Not Connecting?

If you get a connection error message after these steps, you should try using the Xbox LIVE Connection Solution to fix the problem.

Wireless disconnection

I’m having an issue with my Xbox one S.

After the fall update, it will not reconnect to my wireless network after I turn it off and on.

I have to restart the console in order to get wireless network again.

I have fast init activated.

Please some help!

 

Can anyone please help we live in Germany so german router but we are English .. We can play games for 5 mins before getting disconnected then it says no wireless network having no luck through support .. have cycled both xbox and router .. my son's xbox
360 works fine so know it's not router

 

Could be your router dropping the signal have you contatced your provider and open the correct ports

It's not the router .. All correct ports are in and our xbox 360 s are working fine .. its only happened since update

 

Go to: Settings>Network>Advanced>Alternate Mac Address>Clear>Reset

That will reset your network settings, after it turns back on hold the power button on the Xbox Console itself for 10 seconds, that deletes the cache.

At this point, everything that matters Network wise is fixed on the Xbox, any further issues lie in the router, and this is common after updates as routers/modems have issues where sometimes it just can't accept new information, and can only use old information
that's already stored on the HDD of the router/modem.
