    no wireless internet

ok ive got a strange problem here & hoping to get a bit of help from somebody.

    in my house there is currently 4 xbox's, 1 xbox one & 1 xbox 360 (old fat type) & 2 xbox 360s.

wireless internet works fine through out the house on all phones, touchpads, laptops & 2 of the 4 xbox.

theres an old style 360 used in the bed room for watching Netflix, gives no bother, wireless connection.

theres a last gen 360s in living room used for Netflix & games, gives no bother, wireless connection.

theres both an xbox one s & a 360s in the kitchen that get used for games, neither of these will connect to the internet via wireless & need a wired connection. my house router is literally only 10ft away from both machines so I can get cables to stretch
without much bother but why on earth will neither machines connect unless a wired connection is used.

this is not a new situation as far as the xbox one goes as I only purchased it new about 6 months I ago & during initial setup it would not connect this wasn't an issue that bothered me that much as I had a wired connection run to the 360 that previously
occupied the spot for a more stable connection for online gaming so just used the cable instead, the 360 on the other hand has previously had problems connecting to wifi on occasion but to be far my internet connection isn't great at the best of times & after
"improvement" work was carried out by phone company to telephone poles in my street about the same time I bought the xbox one (6 months ago) its just been dismal at times but when the internet works well ive had no issues getting the 360s to connect until
    now.

now I had thought initially that both machines had faulty wireless adapters but going into the settings & checking I find that both machines show my internet wireless connection but just wont connect, perplexed by the problem I used my phone as a mobile
wifi hotspot & both the xbox one & 360s saw the new wireless internet option & after adding the password both connected without issue, I turned off mobile wifi option & again both showed house wireless connection but will not connect.

I cant start changing settings with the router incase the other xbox's stop connecting or worse yet the whole wifi in the house stops working & cant see what settings I can change on the xbox one & the 360s that reside in the kitchen

    any ideas?

    :)

What Wi-Fi band are you using? I'll suggest get a dual band wi fi router and split your devices to use different bands such as use 2.5 for all phones and other devices, and 5Ghx for Xbox One.

  7. Hey there Blocky!

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this problem connecting to your internet easily.

    For the 360, I would go to Settings>Network Settings>(your network)>Configure Network>Additional Settings
and I would select Restore to Factory defaults. Then turn off your console. When you turn it back on, it should ask for your network password again and you should be able to connect.

As for the One, I would try to go to Settings>Network>Network Settings>Go Offline and then
    Set up Wireless Network.

If those steps don't work with helping you reconnect to your recently updated network, then we do have two different connection wizards(guides) that could help you out for the respective consoles. You can try

Xbox 360: I get an error message when I test my Xbox Live connection
for the 360 and for the One you can try the link previously posted.

Hope all this info was helpful. When you get a chance, give those steps a shot and let us know.

    Much thanks!

Have you tried taking some devices off the wifi, and then connecting the two Xbox's that don't want to connect via wifi, just to see what happens?
