No way to find out where my Xbox Controller sent off for repair is

    Hi,

I am based in the UK and sent off a while ago my Xbox Elite Series 2 controller for repair as a thumbstick was broken (unresponsive due to a manufacturing defect) and it was in warranty.

The controller was registered on my profile and I did it via there on my Microsoft Account e.g. print the label etc.

I sent it off and got confirmation of delivery via UPS.

However on my Microsoft Account it now has no record of the service. After trying hard to find a contact to speak to, the only thing available is the call back function, but that doesn’t work.

So I have no one to speak to and no idea where my controller is or what is happening to it.

    Not good enough Microsoft!

How can I speak to someone (anyone!) about this?

    :)

Original Xbox One Controller Serial Number Has Worn Off

I don’t need it repaired. I was just asking for a possible alternate way to find the serial number. For Nintendo, you can find the SN for the controllers in the switch settings. However that is Nintendo and not Microsoft/Xbox and the same is not true for them. I figured that maybe there was some way to find it. If not then I guess I’ll cut my losses. However I wasn’t looking for a repair, and I already knew that it was out of warranty and could not be repaired.

Warranty help with Elite 2 Halo infinite edition

Hello, My name is Jesse. I'm an Independent Advisor and a member of the Microsoft community and I'd love to assist you today.

Unfortunately there's no way to know for sure. Microsoft first try to repair a device sent in and in a case where the issue can't be repaired or they determine that a repair isn't the best option, a replacement is issued. If the later is the case, chances are you'll get a regular controller as a replacement.
