Says Change avatar yet I can't in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I haven't been able to customise my xbox one profile on the actual xbox one as there is nothing to click about editing my profile!!     No way of changing the original avatar? Says Change avatar yet I can't


    I haven't been able to customise my xbox one profile on the actual xbox one as there is nothing to click about editing my profile!! So am doing it on the lap top.

    I currently have a wizard avatar picture as my profile picture which I did not chose, it was already there when I set up the xbox one today. I want a girly avatar

    picture instead yet there is no way of me changing it, seemingly. I have an option whilst signed in on the lap top that says "change avatar" yet when I click it, does nothing but take me out of the page to a screen that I then repeat myself and am never given
    the page it claims it has, for me to change my avatar.

    Help please?

    Changing to original avatar

    Hello Diego,

    when I use "xbox original avatars" app I can see my old avatar and can make changes to his appearances and save them.

    The option you mentioned "use original avatar" is in the "xbox avatar editor" app but when I choose this option it just keeps trying to load my original avatar. It's like the program just won't recognize it. The circle is just keep spinnning around where
    it is supposed to display my original avatar.

    I know it's not a big problem. I'm just disappointed that I can't use the items that I purchased for my avatar in the 360 era No way of changing the original avatar? Says Change avatar yet I can't :)

    Changing to original avatar

    Hello,

    I want to change back to my old avatar but when I choose 'original avatar" in the Avatar editor, it just keeps on loading...

    Is there someone who knows a work around?

    Hi there, I'm not sure I understand what you mean about the page you're accessing on the laptop.

    However, there is indeed a way to access, edit, and take pictures of your avatar on Xbox One.

    If you have Kinect, simply say "Xbox, go to Avatars".

    If you do not have Kinect, simply go to your profile, press 'Customise Profile', and then select 'Customise Avatar'.

    Can I get my pic changed back?

    Can you change your gamer pic in your profile on a web browser?
    I don't see a way to do that on xbox.com , under profile or otherwise.

    I can change the pic on xbox app, but as stated I don't have access to the pic as it was from xbox 360's avatar system, and the avatar system on xbox one can't re-create it. I tried when I replaced the dog image after like a week of it staying that way, it
    looks nothing like my original avatar and I'm even missing clothes I used on my avatar on xbox 360.

    Changing to original avatar

    Hello Knapie,

    I'd be happy to provide some input!

    I believe the new update separated the new Xbox Avatar Editor App and there is also the Xbox Original Avatar App where you can edit your original avatar and select it to use from there.

    Go into the Original Avatar App and see if you can set your original avatar to display from there.

    I tried it but it didn't work.

    I also downloaded the avatar editor app on my laptop and tried it there but no luck...

    I bought the Darth Vader costume for my original avatar, so obviously I want to use that.
