I Was Eagerly Waiting For X Box One X Launch In India.

On 23rd Jan It's launched On Both E Commerce Site i.e Amazon And Flipkart. Regret To Inform You That Both Sites Selling Products Without Manufacturer Warranty.

I put A Mail On Both Sites Both Are Not Giving Any Satisfactory Answers. On Amazon Its Selling Without Warranty And On Flipkart Seller Selling Imported Products And Giving Seller Warranty Only For 10 Days.

Out of region support

I bought the xbox one at a Microsoft store in the US. I have now moved to India. I have a hardware problem & the x-box needs to be replaced according to the tech support. The unit is still under warranty. However their warranty policy dictates that the unit
can be replaced only in the region it was bought. This is ridiculous. You cant expect me to travel to the US to replace my x-box? Now that xbox one is available in India why can't they support it?

Is there any alternative way I can get it fixed?

Any authorized service center for X-box One in India?

Seemingly there is no authorized service center for X-box One in India. I hope it is not true. Please help with service center information in India.

Problem is: For last 3 months my X-box has frequently faced start-up challenges after a system update.

Factory reset was the only option to start the box - which worked for 3 times during last 3 months.

Now, it has become worse, X-box boots but it is not detected by TV now (even after HDMI cable change).

I reached out to Microsoft on Chat option but I was told there is no authorized service center in India.

Even if not authorized, is there a competent professional who can service the box in Mumbai?

Merchants don't sell manufacturers warranty, you have to contact the manufacturer directly. That's probably why they are not helping you. Most retailers have a policy generally 14 days if you're not happy with the product to return for whatever reason.
Most even sell their own in house warranty plans which cuts out the manufacturer.

Anyhow, if you're having issues with your console and it was purchased after January 23rd you can probably just return it. Either that or contact warranty support within Xbox.

Your console its out of warranty?

Or in the devices tab it appears within warranty?

You may need to ask to this e-commerce brand if your console region is India or from where they imported the device

Xbox Series X will release Holiday 2020, given Xbox's track record of releasing new consoles, they've usually been around November.

It will have Blu-Ray.

With the Xbox One X, it uses checkerboarding to get 4K resolution, though it's not true 4K, it's what allows the One X to get to 4K,

With the Xbox Series X, it will use true native 4K, you may see that the Series X will look a little better at 4K than the One X at 4K.

No, xbox x 1tb it's very hard to find in india,

I am waiting to buy xbox x since last 3 months..and I am still waiting

Stock is not available, only one vendor is selling xbox x and there is no warranty and one more thing he is selling at higher price

This is not fair to us....

Still waiting to buy from Microsoft as always not from any street vendors

I hope I will feel my pain 👀
