    I bought the Xbox One 3 days ago and still no sound comes through the tv... what could be the problem?? Ive tried a hard reset as advised by Microsoft, I reversed the HDMI chord yet still no sound

    No in game volume

    can someone please help I have no in game volume and can't sort it out have changed hdmi lead to a brand new one

    No Volume control

    Since the update, the Xbox does not adjust volume on my stereo as before. They're connected by HDMI (Cable --> XboxOne --> Stereo --> TV), and it controls power of the stereo when powering the whole system off and on. Commands register on screen ("Volume
    Up", "Volume Down", "Mute"), but makes no change to the actual volume, not even mute. Gone through all the settings, they are the same and there do not appear to be additional settings that might have changed this.

    Have you gone to settings, Display and Audio, and then check the digital audio?

    Sounds Through Headset [Turtle Beach XO Seven's] NOT As Loud As Before.

    There are 2 volume settings for your Turtle Beaches.

    Game volume and Game to Chat volume.

    Make sure your Game to Chat volume is turned up high and then your standard Game Volume should come through loud and clear.

    Hello Michaelflood2,

    We would definitely recommend trying to contact them first before going. That way you know for sure what they are able to offer you. If your purchase was recent, or if they have warranty on refurbished consoles, you may be offered more options like an exchange.

    Don't forget to try a factory reset if you haven't already. This is the last step to do before considering replacing
    the console.

    Hi Michael,

    It might be that your controller will need replacing so perhaps you can test out your headphones on another controller/xbox to see if they work.

    Before selling it, try taking it into a local Gamestop. They can give you a quick diagnosis of everything that is wrong, and how to fix it.

    This also gives you information to put in the description if you still decide to sell it. That way, people know exactly what they're buying.
