No Voice transmitting

So as of 2 days ago my headset was working perfectly fine, but then that night when i change the batteries in my controller all of a sudden i cant talk on xbox live. I can hear everybody perfectly fine, party chat and game chat but i cant speak, as if im
on permanent mute. Now i did check to see if i was muted an i wasnt, i checked my privacy settings an they were fine...its like within that 30 second time frame to change batteries, my headset just decided it was done talking for good....Anybody have this
issue or know what it is??

Voice not transmitting

Greetings, all! Recently, my voice stopped transmitting to games and party chat. Up until now, everything worked fine, but now I can't speak to anyone using my headset. The only way I can talk to people is with my default headset that came with the Xbox
One. I have a friend that works in IT and everything he told me to do didn't work. I cleaned all the imputs, I changed the adapter that converts the plug from 2.5mm to 3.5mm twice, I updated my controller, I bought a new Stereo Adapter (The device that plugs
into the controller, also known as a "puck") and nothing worked. If I push the 3.5mm plug in just before it "snaps" in, it will broadcast my voice, but if I plug it in all the way, I get nothing. I use Turtle Beach PX22s if that helps.

I would think transmitting a digital signal that is being displayed to transmitting commands that needs to be real time might be 2 different speeds.. but yeah... MS does need to make a longer cable or think of something..

OP are you more worried on voice commands or the actual tracking of movements? for the voice.. it does really need to be directly in front... only be able to hear... without picking up exterior sounds

 

I had this issue as well. Luckily I had my Kinect hooked to the console so people could still hear me. What seems to be the issue is that when your controller turned off it somehow reset the voice settings on the headset. If this happens again simply
quit out of the game and restart it. That should solve the issue.

 

That's the thing though, it's still turned off it seems. It's been off for 3 days now with numerous resets, setting changes everything...I don't understand why it's still off, I still can't speak through my headset

 

This has happened to me with 2 headsets and it will start working a day later or something. Are you guys on the beta dashboard ?

 

You could try power cycling your console to see if that helps. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down then unplug everything from it and let it sit for 5 minutes.

 

I have tried the power cycling an I'm afraid it did not work, I still cannot talk...an yes I am actually signed up for the beta dashboard, is that the issue?

 

It is possible. However, you should post in the preview forums to find out if that may be a cause.

im on my second headset.neither are transmitting voice.

this is obviously a problem.

how about an actual techie from m$ take a look.an ambassador isn't going to help with the cycle your xbox crap....o look im an ambassador....
