  1. No video signal from Xbox to TV

Hello. My son's Xbox is just 2 weeks out of warranty and it suddenly stopped sending HDMI video signals to the TV two days ago. It's been connected to the same TV, in the same location, since new. I have checked the TV's HDMI ports, I have swapped HDMI
cables, and the problems remain. Per exclusion, it must be the console. When it is turned on, nothing is displayed on the TV besides a message that there is no input signal. I have flipped through different signal source options, and the signal is really not
there. After 30 sec or so after turning the Xbox one, it turns itself off automatically. Has anybody experienced the same problem? Any solution besides servicing the unit? Thanks in advance for the assistance. We just got FIFA20 and he only managed to play
3 or 4 times before the failure.

    :)

4k from cable box through Xbox day one edition

The Xbox One doesn't directly pass through the HDMI signal. It always "intercepts" everything coming in from the HDMI in port and processes it.

Since the original idea was to have TV and games "picture in picture", the Xbox takes the video signal, and processes it to be included with the TV app on the console and then outputs it via it's own video signal to the TV.

Since the original Xbox One isn't 4K capable, you will not get 4K from your cable box if you run it through the original Xbox One.

Try a hard reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds. If that dose not work get in touch support and see what they can do failing that might be a new console time.

Do you have a different TV or a monitor with an HDMI port you can try connecting the Xbox to? Just want to make sure its the console port. Do you you have other HDMI devices connected to the same TV with no issue?

I am sorry to hear about this, the xbox's ports must be broken,I would reccomend calling a member of staff about this because the xbox is broken.you might not be able to get another xbox since the warranty ran out but it is still worth a try!

If this dosnt work you could try installing new hdmi ports but this is highly dangerous and could result in the xbox braking,I would reccomend checking on this post frequently as another person or xbox ambassador might have another solution for you.

I am open to more questions if you wish. From !👍
