No video output

I turned on my XBOX and I have no video output. The TV is displaying "No Signal". I watched Netflix just a couple of days ago and have not moved any cable connections etc. However, I did check to see that they were plugged in properly, tried a different
cable known to work, tried a different HDMI input also known to work. I even tried connecting it to a different TV-- all to no avail.

I have a digital audio cable connected to a receiver and am able to hear the system turn on. I was even able to connect using my XBOX One SmartGlass app to the console and watch TV etc. However I am getting no video output to any TV.

I did get have an update installed a few days ago. Not sure if this impacted it or is just a coincidence.

Any thoughts or Ideas?

If this doesn't work you may need to have your console serviced as it may be a hardware issue then. If you need to have it serviced you may whether initiate it at

No video output

I was playing Destiny; when I attempted to go to orbit, the game locked up. I went back to the home menu, which also froze. I force-shutdown my Xbox; ended up having to unplug everything and wait for a long period. This happened twice today. I thought it
might have been a corrupted file in the game, so I Uninstalled it and set it to download again. I attempted to go browse the store while waiting and got a complete screen freeze. Now, my Xbox One will not display video at all. It turns on, but there is no
output to the TV. Until today, it has worked perfectly. Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, is it fixable or is my console bricked?

 

First thing to try would be a hard reset of the console. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart
the console. Once it is back up and operational test for results. Let us know. Good Luck!
