    No video on startup


    This issue randomly started to occur about a week or so ago. When I turn on my system the TV and sound bar power on as well, but I just get a blank screen. Even pressing the dashboard doesn't bring up the dashboard screen, so I do not believe it is an
    issue with my cable box connecting to the Xbox. Obviously I have checked all cables and connections but the issues continues to happen. The weirdest part about this is the problem will solve itself if I shut off the box and startup again. Clearly I would
    like to avoid having to power on my xbox 2 times each time I want to use the Xbox or watch TV.

    Blu-ray app. issue

    hello.

    I'm currently experiencing an issue with playing movies on my xbox one through the blu-ray app. When i try to run a disk( dvd or BR ) there is no video after the initial blu-ray startup. I will see loading screens( like the death star spinning on rogue one)
    and menu interfaces. I even hear the music from the movie, title screen, and other screens but no video during that time(such as paramount pictures video). All of the interfaces work just simply audio with no video playback.

    i have tried all of the usual... Uninstalling, hard/soft reset, video setting changes like 24 hz on/off, different movies, and checking for updates.

    i have looked around but haven't found any instances of resolution. Any thoughts?

    No sound on system startup??

    On my second console. First one died last week and got replacement at MS store. The replacement they gave me starts up just fine but has no sound at first. I am using optical out for Dolby digital. When I turn the console on, I need to go to settings
    and change the sound settings from bit stream out to stereo and then back to Dolby digital to get the sound to come on. Any ideas?

    Same issue here with every video file, after the startup of the XBOX ONE i can start 1 or 2 videos, after that i am not longer able to run any movie, even the videos that i was able to lauch at the start.

    No video when Outputting to SD

    Hold down the Right Trigger and the "Y" button at system startup to reset your video options. your xbox just might need to be reset.

    ESPN Takes a very long time to load

    If this poor startup time is related to the expanded content of ESPN as opposed to when it was initially launched, then I call this a terrible design (something I haven't experienced much from Microsoft). A simple load-on-demand approach can alleviate the
    heavy load of the startup delay. Another thing Microsoft should consider is giving the user the option to NOT load a video when starting up. This could be the biggest reason for the delay. Not loading video on startup would at least isolate the cause of the
    delay. I've stopped using the ESPN app on XBOX360 because of this issue and I just go use ESPN3's site on my computer. I hope they resolve this issue soon.

    Yea, but sometimes it's hard to get it at first try. I'll also recommend you watch a video on how to bring up the Startup Troubleshooter on YouTube to be sure you're doing it right.
