No video and sound on DVR recorded using Xbox App on Windows 10

Hello,

I record gameplays with my girls and some of them have no video and sound. I mean couple of minutes is OK, then everything goes black. No video and sound. The problem is that most of records are fine. Let's say 5% are corrupted. However some of my important
clips are damaged, including my Mass Effect 2 clip when I saved the whole crew. I was really pis***d off.

Xbox One and laptop are connected using ethernet for better streaming quality. No idea what's wrong.

Does anyone know how to edit video and put it back on your xbox one?

From the Game DVR screen within the Xbox app, you can access and edit all game clips recorded on Windows 10, as well as clips shared from your Xbox One. Editing in the Xbox app is restricted to Trim at this time. For more info:

If you are still experiencing the same issue, we suggest that you reset the Windows Store cache and update the Xbox app.

Here are the steps:

1. Press Windows key + X on your keyboard. 
2. Click on Command prompt (Admin). 
3. Type wsreset.exe, and then hit Enter.
4. Close the Command prompt, and then launch Windows Store. 
5. Update the Xbox App in the Windows Store.  
6. If there is no option for you to update it, uninstall and reinstall the app.

The first link is not related as I'm talking about streaming from XOne to Windows 10 laptop. I think it's nothing about my console.

About the second suggestion, have tried this several times but still some of my records go blank. This is with random games, random time. I tried to find some pattern, but no clues.

A scan showed that The Store cache memory is corrupted. I'm looking for solutions for this issue now.

 

I did find some solutions, run some checks, but still the same. Maybe it's my laptop config? Don't know.

Thanks for reply. Both of this checks found nothing. My Win10 is updated (last update 6/02/2017). Just to let you know, I raised this to support as well and got Ticket: 1374217421

However all suggestions don't work. Yesterday I've checked streaming quality before recording my gameplay. All I've got now from 1,40 hr is 20 minutes gameplay, then everything stops. No good.

Before I uninstalled all third party programs, however I don't think it is an issue. I cleared TEMP file (this was suggested by Win10 support). I'm out of options now.

 

If the issue persists after performing the steps that we provided, kindly answer the following questions so we can further isolate your concern and provide you an appropriate solution:

• When did the issue start?
• Does the same issue occur when playing games or videos outside the Xbox App?
• Have you tried creating a restore point on your computer before?

Well, I don't bother anymore. Obviously this feature don't work properly so I bought Capture Card and don't use Win10 streaming anymore. You may close this subject.
