no valid payment option

when i try to download the games on gold for 360 it says i have no valid option to pay even that it is free, i do have payment option but is it connected to accidentally changing my 360 account region? and how do i change it back without waiting 3 months?i
don't have an xbox 360 so i try from the xbox one and from xbox.com

This problem still hasn't been solved, whenever i go to get a FREEEE (via games with gold) game it says i need a valid option and that option is to put my credit card, even when i try to get it on Xbox one. This is stupid, this shouldn't be a problem yet
it is.

The 360 store is set up differently from the one on the One and xbox.com. The website/One does not recognize your Microsoft account balance as a valid payment option for 360 content. So you need a credit card/Paypal on file in order to purchase 360 content,
even if it is free. Otherwise you would need to use a 360 console to purchase the content. This would not be related to a region change, and there is no way to change your region before the 3 months is up.

I believe that the system will not accept DEBIT cards. You need to use a CREDIT card, or you can

1. Go to a local game store or electronics store and purchase a subscription card with a code. You can use your debit card to pay for it there.

2. If you have the new update and have a paypal account, you can use paypal to make your payment.

Its doing the samething to me but im not sure whether its paid for a months xbox live, wether it ran out in the first place, but now its saying ive got a gold and its just keeps going
