    No Update for Xbox

    The update is being rolled out between today and May 30. So it's not being sent out to everyone all at once. So all you have to do is wait for you to get the update.

    There have been no indication when the Xbox 360 will be shut down. So the information that says that it will be "retired" in 3 years is greatly exaggerated. The fact is that no one knows when it will happen. I doubt Xbox staff
    even know at this point.

    As for the Xbox 360 updates, there will be minor updates to fix issues. Major system updates usually happen anywhere between October and December. WE should get more info closer to those dates.

    You want a source for a lack of information? If you're asking for a source about a system update around October-ish. I don't have any. I'm just using historical patterns that have MS releasing an update around that time every
    year since 2008.

    @XxD3ltaBravoxX - There is no correlation between console type and Update errors. :)

    @OP - This update message refers to a networking issue, per the
    System Update Troubleshooting     page. Could you try installing the update via USB? Instructions are here: http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-360/how-to/update-xbox-360/system-updates
