    On Tuesday 28th of November, I used up €249 of my Microsoft balance towards a purchase of an Xbox Series S starter bundle. The outstanding balance of €1 was a pending transaction since then. I requested a call back from Microsoft support on Thursday November 30th. They said it takes up to 72 hours for the transaction to complete. I checked my bank balance recently and the transaction is no longer on my account. It is neither completed nor pending.

    I have proof of that €1 transaction. Also a Microsoft balance of €0, despite having been at €249 recently with no recorded transaction on my account.

    My guess is that the order glitched and went into the void. The scenario would be a nightmare to describe over the phone, and without an order number, I cannot request a refund by email through customer support.

    Has something similar happened to another user and how could I go about rectifying this?

    Hello Mate I have not had any issues like this happen to me,

    I would suggest you contact support Contact us | Xbox Support and tell them what you have put in this post they will be able to help you more mate.

    Personally, this has not happened to me or even anything similar, it is possible that it is due to a problem with your account since all purchases should be reflected in the transaction history without any problem, so I suggest you contact Support directly.

    Yes, you can. You will need to start the transaction with a payment method (credit/debit card). You'll be prompted after doing so if you'd like to use your Microsoft Account balance on the transaction. It will empty out your Microsoft Account balance and
    charge whatever the remainder is plus tax to your payment method.

    Hello,

    You cannot use your Microsoft Account balance to purchase Xbox LIVE Gold. That balance can only be used on Xbox LIVE Game store transactions.
