No toast notifications

I get tile notifications but no toast on my Lumia 900 running 7.8.

I've the same problem with AlphaJax on the HTC 8X...

The best I can tell, I get toast notifications when my opponent has them turned on regardless of my settings. I think that my setting should affect whether or not I get the notifications, so I think it's a bug in the software.

Well, apparently no luck...even after reinstalling and accepting the initial prompt to receive notifications, nothing comes in...any other ideas/suggestions? Thank you!

Same problem here on the Lumia 920. I can see the counter on the tile showing me I have turns to play but no toast notifications ever come in. All options/settings are on as they should be. Reinstalling also does not fix this for me.

So let's say you didn't say yes to that initial prompt, are you out of luck for getting toast to work?

Hi EchiGaijin-

Toast notifications are controlled by your Xbox Live settings.

Select the Settings App on your phone.

Pivot to Applications.

Select Games

Ensure all 3 sliders are set to "On"

You also need to ensure that when you were prompted the first time you ran the game that you selected 'Yes' to push notifications.
