    I've got my XB1 hooked up via HDMI to my 7.1 receiver, and then from the receiver to my TV for video. Since the update, I get sound only from my satellite speakers, and nothing from the subwoofer. I understand the update changed some htigns regarding audio
    and surround sound, but losing bass entirely? I'd rather not go buy a 10' fiber optic cable (I live in military barracks, and with my current HDMI cable lengths and setup possibilities, I'd have to buy a long fiber optic cable or several longer HDMI cables)
    but if that's the only way, I'll give it a shot. Has anyone else had issues like this, or know of others who have??

    Been away from Xbox for a long time!

    I moved to PS4 at launch foolishly last 3 months then came back seriously dude PS4 sucks. No updates about anything people actually want. Netowrks always down and I do mean always. All maintenance is done on weekends and bank holidays UK evening time. All
    exclusives are mostly singleplayer dull affairs. They have nothing like the amazing functionality of the XB1. You made a great call dont let the Sony zealots try tell you otherwise. Plus XB1 has loads of exclusive content on the AAA games and early access

    I got a fiber optic cable, and STILL nothing coming from the subwoofer. Blu ray and 360 work just fine, as well as a simple stereo in from my phone, but not my XB1...this worked just great before the last system update
