No Street Fighter 5 on Xbone

Pretty big one this. It looks like Microsoft and Sony were in talks with Capcom over who gets console exclusivity for their games, MS got Dead Rising 3 and PS4/PC will have Street Fighter 5.

Considering all the top players from SF4 played on Xbox Live this is a huge blow for MS.

Street Fighter a lifetime exclusive? No, I don't think so... Street Fighter 5, yes, but the franchise, no.

oh yea currently playing marvel vs Capcom 2, street fighter 3, but I also have access to GOW judgement, COD II , Killer instinct on xbone and ryse on xbone. but whatevs

 

Be interesting to see how the games press handle this, given the S***storm they kicked up around Tomb Raider

 

Loved Street Fighter back in the day but for some reason just couldn't get tuned into it on the 360 , really liked Mortal Kombat though and I'm really looking forward to that I think it looks great !!

I would be surprised if xbox didnt get a version. But who knows. Sony have recently nailed their flag to the PlayStation brand and are dropping other traditional forms of hardware revenue. Maybe they have it tied down. I was hoping we would see a version
of MGS4 for xbox by now, that seems dead in the water. I hope the same is not true for SF5. I loved SF4. Oh, bring back the vision of Trip Hawkins and the 3DO utopia of one game fits all!!!!

A massive loss for Microsoft, as far as I'm concerned. I haven't owned more than one platform since the PS2, Gamecube and original Xbox era, but this title is enough to have me buy another system.

I will, at some point in the near future, be buying a PS4. Street Fighter is too big a draw for me. I'll still be sticking with the Xbox One too, as Gears of War is another franchise that is too close to my heart. Oh boy! This is going to be an expensive
generation!

 

Who cares when we're getting the graphically and technically superior "Dead Or Alive".

I think Injustice is technically the best fighting game i have played.
