no split screen!!!

im soo disappointed in the no split screen.. 343 realize halo was suppose to be a social game?

 

I agree with BigDaddyxBrock... if the lack of split screen has anyone so upset that they're moaning all over these forums about it, then it's time to consider the possibility that they're viewing the Halo experience through a pin-hole. There's more to Halo
than split screen and there always has been.

 

Halo is a social game that's why it has multiplayer added to it. People complain for lack of innovation then they complain for innovation. There comes a time when you just bite the bullet and move on. If you don't support the decision then don't buy it.
Everything was clearly explained and in plain English on many websites and on the package. Do a little research next time and it wont be an issue.

 

I'm in middle school & its not like I can go out and buy another xbox1 and H5 for my little brother and sister. I've been playing Halo with my older brother since since I was 4. Split screen for mp & campaign. I grew up with Halo and so have my youngers.
343 said there was going to be ss. We need 60fps to see how these mp forge maps look so terrible? Ppl who don't care for ss cuz they have no need for it and they are probably older or wealthier.

 

343 had said months in advance there would not be split screen in Halo 5, it was also plainly marked on the game package that he only co op was online.... I can understand youre situation Bionicled like I said the no split screen thing was just something
that doesnt bother me, in youre case it does suck you cant play with youre siblings because of this issue....

 

no split screen to make it look better? what bs. Halo always had split screen, it was made to share the experience at home. You are saying star wars battlefront that looks more amazing in graphics then this game has split screen. Halo 5 can't, for to look
better? what garbage.. it doesn't matter, i made mistake buying an xbox one for it.. i did it.. not doing again. lesson learned and so many other fans.. i am a good friend, i am going to warn my other buddies not to buy it. If they fix this or change this
problem in halo 6 then i might come back.. of course once awhile ill play online.. try to get my money worth out of it. im playing more games on 3rd party games vs this. im a xbox fan. i hate sony. but this crap and people sticking up for is garbage, we need
to complain to make the game BETTER, not worse. trying to fix it for the gamer that wants a social game. O f course these guys in chat. (maybe paid 343 ) or they could be die hard halo fans, like i was sticking up for the story in youtube video's. I am

my brother just bought me halo 5, and there is a co-op option. has there been any update since then that split screen is possible?

 

RadRacer01 the co-op option is for the story mode, its not local play though its for online.... and 343 announced they cannot just patch in split screen, so they are looking at putting it back in for Halo 6...

 

Correct its Campaign online Co-op.

 

as customer not happy about not be able to play co-op1-4 with my friends.

 

Basically reading the back of a package is like reading license terms. (almost nobody reads that stuff).

And as all Halo's had split screen people would buy it blind without looking or reading about it.

Its obvious, it's a Halo game.

And it should had it included and that's final.

If its on the package or not that's beside the question, Halo = social co-op split screen play.

Halo combat evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3 ODST, Halo Reach, Halo 4, Halo Master Chief Collection all included it no wonder people would think it will be included in Halo 5 guardians.

I can't blame them.

If this is too hard to read then I don't know what can help. Crying in a Microsoft forum about a 343 game really doesn't help either. It is what it is and it was announced before release. The consumer is the one who needs to be smart here, do your research
and if you don't agree don't buy it. That's the only way to make a point.

 

So saying what you did about reading the back that almost no one does it, & that almost all people would automatically buy this game blindly without any research or reading any material means that youre all the type of people that would go into a dealership
wanting a Hellcat, but walkout with a v6 Challenger instead, and blame the dealership because you didnt read the specs or details of the paperwork on the actual car you were purchasing.. you just bought it blindly because you thought you were gonna be getting
a Hellcat... yeah ok....
