no split screen!!!

I know Reminces, I dont understand people not researching before purchase.... its not that hard to find out what you want to know ahead of release..

I feel this is a huge disappointment in the halo series,I througly enjoyed playing halo 1-4 as split screen co op. I brought halo 5 with the intention of playing it split screen co-op and then to find out I couldn't I feel ripped off, I am loosing faith
in Xbox and feel like selling all off my xboxs and going else where !!!!

The thing is 343 said they will look at split screen for Halo 6, but their not promising it....

 

Well some people do not want to get spoiled by other opinions and want to fined-out for them self's.

Yes I knew it did not uphold split screen, Just think for my kids it's a shame they left it out.

But cutting the LAN option is a darn shame indeed.

Again the only company I know of that never includes LAN is EA and we all know it sucks.

Next to this I know that a lots of people buy games like Halo, CoD, Fifa, etc blind on the go.

Just like they run to McDonalds instead of going to a good restaurant and widen their view of perception.

Anyhow I still think (even that I knew it was excluded) it's a dumb move from 343 studio's.

Now you get kids fighting each other over who's time it is to play the game, and it removes a family social aspect of gaming. Like a said dumb move.

But then again in this generation of game consoles I see lot's of really strange moves being made.

Like remakes of games from last Gen. why? If it's like a game from 20 years back I would say ok fine, but les then 10 years old why?

Why not look back at what has been done and learn from there mistakes, now lest skip that and make dumb mistakes allover again. Like yes again 'no split screen' people complaint about it in, Titanfall, Destiny, Minecraft (if you had no HD TV), Need for Speed,
and of course HALO 5. Probable more games on different consoles.

I think there to high in the clouds and need to come down again and start asking the community what lives.

But it probable returns in Halo 6, somewhere 2018 if not later

 

Yeah that was a blow. I've recently played through all the Halo's on MCC (with the exception of ODST) with my son and we were looking forward to playing 5. I refused to pay out for two copies of the game but then caved on release day. The thing is, having
me downstairs and him upstairs, it's just not the same as sitting side by side and laughing as we kill each other.

 

You don't have to buy two copies of the game for two people to play. You can both play via home share with one copy.

 

WTF? It never dawned on us for a second there would be no local coop. We spent the past few months working through the first four games (which were a repurchase). We were looking forward to working through this game together. This brutal. I feel completely
ripped off. Thanks Microsoft. What is the point of being a loyal customer if you keep *** us over?

 

How do they screw anyone over, when you know or could find out ahead of time that the game doesnt have it, therefore you dont have to purchase the game..... they left it out, because they wanted to game to run at its best which would be without split screen...
dont buy the game since it doesnt have split screen its that simple..... you cant keep beating a dead horse about something that was known for months and that is also plainly marked on the back of the game box...

 

Man, so many people not reading the back of the game cover lol.

At any rate, no splitscreen is the biggest disappointment for me about this game. At the end of the day, I would have it instead of 60fps any day. But Frank O'Connor mentioned that implementing splitscreen to Halo 5 isn't possible, and they will consider
it for the next Halo.

 

and that clearly show's that the Xbox one isn't powerful, if they can't implant this...

No... what this shows is that the consoles power is being used to give what the people cry about, better graphics. So they made a choice to give the best looking biggest world game to please the customers and they still get a backlash. The constant want
for cool graphics is killing gameplay and its sad people cant see that. You cant please everyone and that the life we live in. They have features listed on the package and announced the change ages ago. As a consumer you have a choice to pay attention, do
research and not support this by not buying.

 

Why Microsoft, they clearly don't understand how important split screen is, if halo never had split screen, then I would have never been one of Microsoft's greatest games.i played halo 5 and it was made to be played with a friend or relative and removing
split screen just doesn't show the whole point of that. Trust me play the first level of campaign and you will know I'm right.

 

Microsoft is the publisher, 343 is the one that made the decision on no split screen.... just as Bungie is the one that did split screen before on the older Halo's.... You can play this game with a friend, in Co-Op ONLINE.... the whole split screen thing
is just old.... everyone needs to send 343 a message of how you feel, everyone keeps posting in these forums and it really doesnt matter..... Removing split screen allowed for 60 FPS and faster and better gameplay I dont understand why people dont get this....
343 has said they will explore split screen for Halo 6 but it is not promised.... in this day in age, no split screen is fine I dont see how people play that way...
