no sound using blue ray

Discus and support no sound using blue ray in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I have no sound while playing blue ray dvd is fine this happened before with old os..I cant find the option in the settings to fix it any ideas?...     blu ray videos

    The blu ray player only has sound and no video for blu ray videos. I've tried resetting the console but it only shows a black screen. The video is obviously playing as I can hear the sound from it. Any suggestions?

    Faulty disc drive. I'm not amused

    I have downloaded the update, i've downloaded the Blu-Ray app. I've tried games and Blu-Ray movies, all make the grinding sound and all will not read.

    Have tried disconnecting from power also to no avail.

    go to settings>all settings> disc and bluray>bluray>make sure the sound setting is correct> persistent storage>clear persistant storage. power cycle the console try it again and see if issue is still occurring.

    Xbox One issues after 07.02.16 update

    My Xbox one is no longer playing sound from Blue-Rays. It plays TV sound and will continue to play TV sound while Blue-Ray picture is running. This is since the latest update. I tried turning off the TV source then I have no sound. I restarted Xbox one twice
    but no help.

    I hate having to download every game!

    Better graphics and sound = larger file sizes...Larger file sizes = Blue Ray Disc....Blue Ray Disc = currently not able to offload those files in real time fast enough. Sorry

    Blueray no 5.1 sound

    I set X1 and receiver to DTS and on the X1 set Blue-ray auto-play to off so I could see the Blue-ray disk menu to select 7.1 sound, then it worked fine.

    Sounds like you may want to use a blue ray cleaner. Worst case that cheapo disc drive is gonna die on you. If no warranty/ return option is available then use it for digital. My blue ray messed up too andbibhad to dismantle half the the Xbox to fix it. Check
    YouTube for tips tricks. God speed
