    No sound through tv after disconnecting headphones


    Hi

    Im having difficulties where after my son had removed his headphones from the controller, I get no sound from the tv, can plug headphones in and get sound through the headphones, but not from the tv when I disconnect them

    in your audio settings on your xbox is it set for no hdmi audio?

    so just an update on this, i decided to factory reset the tv, and now i have sound through the tv

    Is it possible that your TV is on mute or the volume has been turned down? If not, then try restarting the Xbox, that can help with bringing the sound back on the TV.

    Glad your back, I was going to suggest turning off TV, AVR if using, and console then switching them back on in order, TV, AVR, then console last of all.
