    No Sound Through Turtlebeach XO One Headset


    Okay I have updated my XBox Controller with the Headset in and tried a variety of setting changes in Display/Sound on my XBox One. However, I am not getting sound at all through either this headset or the one that comes with the system. I have the XBox One
    connected to an Onkyo Soundsystem via HDMI Cable. I tried the Party Setup in Apps with the sound down on the receiver and nothing. Any clue on what's going on???

    Please DO NOT Buy the Turtle Beach XO Fours

    The XO series does not have surround yet, I have tweeted myself with somebody from turtle beach and it was confirmed, they said:

    @turtlebeach does the xo seven has surround?

    As it uses Microsoft's headset adapter, it is passed stereo audio from the Xbox One.

    Chat issues with Xbox 360 connected to Xbox One

    First, please tell me if this is the right place to post this, if not tell me where/move the post to that location

    I have connected my Xbox 360 to my Xbox One via HDMI cable, so that when I go to "TV" I can play my Xbox 360 through the One. The Xbox 360 plays all audio through my One headset(TurtleBeach XO Seven) Yet it use the microphone from my 360 headset(TurtleBeach
    X11) for chat input. I have done everything to attempt it to use my XO Seven microphone for chat input on the 360. Does anyone know a solution to this?

    I tested this plugging headphones directly into TV and it worked. So the issue has to be between the XBox One and the Onkyo Receiver

    Try updating the firmware on the controller. Update needs to be done for sound to come out of controller port.

    Anyone with the Turtle Beach XO Seven Pros experience this?

    I don't have XO Seven Pros, but i recently picked up XO four Pros and have experienced the same thing. It doesn't happen often, sometimes all sound cuts out on the headset for a second or two. I am also using one of the new xbox one controllers with the
    built in 3.5mm headphone jack,

    I am wondering if it is the firmware on the new controller or if it is the turtlebeach headset adapter.

    I've just spoke to Turtle Beach regarding the XO Seven headset. I want to buy one but can't find enough information about them.

    They said that it connects directly to the controller. No other connections needed and nothing to the console.

    How can this be?
