    ive not had no sound on the xbox one now for 2 days only through my head set even bought a new hdmi thinking that was the prolem can anyone help me out on how to get the sound back through the tv ive even factory reset it

    Xbox One no sound

    About 50% of the time my xbox will start without any sound and no amount of reseting, off and on, or setting changes will fix it. The only way I can get sound is waiting for it to work next time I start it up, just not right then and there. As if it knows
    I want to play now. I also have noticed that during this, I can’t capture gameplay or screenshots if that helps. What am I supposed to do?

    Hey there.

    I understand this is quite a complex problem as you cant hear sound normally.

    I would recommend contacting xbox support to see if they can help you out.

    One thing you could d as a test is change the hdmi port you are currently using (example HDMI 1) to a different hdmi port, like hdmi 2, to check that it is not the TV's hdmi channel damaged. I would recommend contacting xbox support.

    You can contact them through the xbox website or through @xboxsupport on twitter.

    It also helps in multiplayer when there is no uav up and you can hear the footsteps of the enemy.

    Hi,

    There really isn't enough information or any sort of way we would be able to tell you what you'd do in this case. I'm assuming that you'd need to take advantage of the Optical Port that's on the back of the Xbox One for some sort of sound, but I honestly wouldn't
    be able to tell you without getting more information about the console.

    I'm also not sure if you'll be able to use your own optical devices (headsets, etc) as they did announce that it's not going to be compatible with any sort of Xbox 360 accessories.
