No Sound on Xbox One Wired Headset When Connected to Xbox Series S controller

This does not occur if I connect the same headset via wire/headphone jack to the controller.

It only occurs when connected wirelessly to the Xbox one S.

Please fix.

No, it's not possible to use an Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S controller on an Xbox 360 even connected with a wire.

If the headset is unfortunately defected , you can contact the Microsoft support for an eventual replacement, on the xbox official website you can find the support center phone number or you can chat with a support member , there is the faq page too , I really hope you will find the best solution for this problem

Hi! Thanks for replying. I actually have the Xbox Headset with the adapter attached already. I don’t have another Xbox controller, but I have a friend who has another one I can test it out on. And yeah, it might be a defective headset unfortunately.

have you ever tried to connect the xbox wired headset on another device (for example a phone or a tablet)? For understand if the headset could be broken , I have the same problem with my turtle beach headset , but I have the headset adapter and sometimed I need to push one of the two buttons about the two different configuration of sound (it’s a turtle beach headset adapter), anyway , try this solution 🤞🏻
