No sound on Pandora or I Heart Music app

Did you try to uninstall and install the app again? Clear the cache too, maybe it helps, good luck!

Thanks for reaching out for help with those music apps to work on your console. I can totally understand how this could be a pretty confusing/frustrating. I suggest trying uninstalling and then reinstalling them if you haven't already.

If that does not do the trick, I suggest trying a soft factory reset of the console. It's a factory reset of the console that does not remove any of your games and apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for many problems. Once you have made sure
that the internet is connected adequately (with an open NAT type) and that you know all the sign-in information for your gamertags (as you'll need to redownload those accounts afterward) follow the steps outlined in How
to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One and select the option denoted reset and keep my games & apps.


When you get the chance, give those steps a shot and let us know how that helped.

They are also supposed to add the ability to listen to music in the background in the future but only off of supported apps. I heart radio, Pandora, etc.

if you are in the US you can use the Pandora app to play music in your stream but most other music apps on Xbox don't play background music in streams.

I couldn't find anything else to play music when I streamed on Mixer and Pandora isn't available where I am.

So I am having a similar issue with my apps, not sure if it's because the apps will be used for the background music in the future but here is my problem: I used to be able to use Pandora and I Heart Radio in the "snap an app" mode while playing a disc.
After the update it no longer works. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem? Thanks!
