    No sound on Minecraft


    Hi

    I had downloaded the free version of Minecraft on my sons Xbox series X and there was no sound. I uninstalled this and then installed the disc version.....there is still no sound. I have checked the audio settings in the game and they are all at the max
    level. The sound is working on other games so it's not a console issue. Any suggestions please?

    sounds like an issue with the version of minecraft.

    It sounds like the realm was created on a newer version of minecraft than what you have installed. Just check for an update to minecraft.

    It's either a bug or the volume is turned all the way down. It's however more likely a problem because of the xbox, because somehow a lot of people can't play sound on their xbox with certain games. Normally restarting the game shall fix it, but if it doesn't,
    and you tried anything, than go to Minecraft Forums and post the bug on the Xbox 360 section.

    Did you buy "Minecraft" or "Minecraft for Windows 10"? "Minecraft" is the console version and it sounds like it's looking for a console to install it on.
