No Sound in Minecraft WIndows 10 Edition

There is just no sound. I have tried every possible solution I could find and nothing is working.

I have:

Reinstalled the game

Reinstalled my sound drivers

Gone through the windows audio troubleshooter

Made sure the game isn't muted

And many more things I could find the past few days of google searching which I cant recall but I promise you it didn't work.

I don't get it. All other sounds on my computer work perfectly fine, but Minecraft just doesn't.

I own minecraft "windows 10 edition" on xbox one but isn't availabile on windows 10....

There is no "Windows 10 Edition" on the Xbox One.

On the Xbox One, there was a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" but that has been replaced with just "Minecraft".

As the others already said, "Minecraft" is not a Play Anywhere title, so owning "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, doesn't give you "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" on the PC.

However, if you own Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you can log into your Mojang Account on PC, and can get a code for the Windows 10 Version.

No worries, keep in mind that you can set the game to peaceful in the mean time so you don't have to worry about creepers

Or just play in creative mode.

I'm not sure then, have you contacted
microsoft/Xbox support or checked out the
minecraft Help page about this? (I'm not sure which would be the better option.

No, my volume for minecraft is cranked all the way up. I even went into the app settings to make sure it was supposed to come out of my headphones.

Are you using any other sound devices (headphones, earbuds, speakers, etc) for minecraft that you don't use for anything else?

Is the in game volume turned right down? (master volume and individual volume for mobs, weather, etc)
