No sound in halo infinite

Discus and support No sound in halo infinite in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I did everything in troubleshoot but still have no sound other than gun fire.     No sound in halo infinite


    I did everything in troubleshoot but still have no sound other than gun fire. However, sound works fine in all other games. Anyone else having issues with this?

    We understand that your sound is not working correctly while playing Halo Infinite. Let us check on this together so you can get back to gaming. Please try the steps outlined below.

    Hard reset your console

    1. Press the Nexus button (Xbox logo) on the front of your console and hold it until the console has completely powered off, about ~30 seconds
    2. Unplug the console and keep it unplugged for a few minutes
    3. Plug the console back in and power it on by pressing the Nexus button
    4. See if issue is resolved
    Change Audio settings

    1. Open up Settings on your console
    2. Navigate to Volume & Audio Output, in the General section
    3. Under Speaker Audio, make sure "Stereo uncompressed" is selected
    Uninstall and reinstall Halo Infinite

    1. Navigate to Halo Infinite within your Games and Apps
    2. Press the hamburger menu button on your controller (three horizontal lines, to the right of the Nexus button) and select Uninstall
    3. Reinstall Halo Infinite

    To confirm if the issue is with the game itself, we suggest downloading other games and see if you still get the same audio problem. If this is a game issue Halo Infinite can provide you more information and how to fix it.

    I found workarounds that might help you resolve the problem.

    • Use an analog 3.5mm audio cable to connect your headphones directly to the PC while playing Halo.
    • Switch back to USB cable or Bluetooth for other applications.
    • If this does not fix, uninstall programs associated with your headphones.
