    No sound in 3 games...but on others...


    Hi

    So far I've lost total sound on Horizon 5, NFS Heat, and Cyber Punk, although Power Washer simulator has no problem at all

    Horizon 5 and Cyber Punk played fine yesterday.

    I've done a soft re set...AND a factory re set (keeping the games)

    Nothing is working. Sound plays fine on dashboard. Can't be bothered to try other games as I'm getting too frustrated.

    Considering this is the most expensive of the range its been the most problematic! Seriously not impressed with this machine for the money! My XBOX one S was an absolute dream!

    Please try this

    Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

    Unplug the console's and display power and HDMI cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Plug the console and Tv power and HDMI cable back in.

    Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox

    If this doesn't work, and you have the games on an external storage, please unplug it and repeat the process

    Try to restore keeping games and apps, please be sure that you know your account email and password, once the process is done, be sure to not use the previous console configuration

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    On the Reset your console screen, you'll see three option use this one, be sure you remember the email and password of you're accounts:

    Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps. In some cases, if a corrupt game file is causing the issue you're troubleshooting, you may have to choose Reset and remove everything, but you should always start with Reset and keep my games & apps

    That's not worked at all. Ove repeated it 3 times. All games are saved on hard drive of the box.

    It's ridiculous! Only 1 game now has sound!

    How can it be any lead when one game plays fine, and I have sound on the home screen?!?!?!

    Who has the best completly wireless headset for the console?

    I have been using the turtle beach XO Four for about 3 years, still sounds great for gaming and other devices.

    Dolby Atmos.

    Like others have said I strongly believe that atmos is the present and the future. Especially with Sony implementing 3 D sound for the next generation. Games today are not only graphics and FPS. Sound and music are important part of it.
