    No sound from OneGuide and Now TV app


    I have lost sound when trying to watch either live or on demand content from OneGuide (via an xbox freeview receiver) and NowTV. It was working fine last week and then for no apparent reason the sound went. Strange thing is that sound is fine on Netflix
    and Amazon Video, so I don't think it's not my speakers or AV receiver.

    I've tried all the suggested fixes that I saw on here including checking that my Xbox One video and audio settings are correct, restarted, shut and opened apps... nothing.

    Any ideas?

    OneGuide missing from App

    They have officially responded on reddit:

    "OneGuide, including the guide, TV controls, and TV streaming, were removed from the Windows versions of the Xbox app. To use OneGuide on Windows, get the Xbox One SmartGlass app in the Windows Store. OneGuide is still part of the Xbox app on iOS and Android."

    TV and OneGuide settings

    I have an Xbox One and i originally set it up to workwith live TV and it was working fine. I've had the Xbox for about a month now but now Live TV no longer works. Whenever I try to start the TV app it simply says it took too long to load. I try to go to
    the TV and OneGuide settings to possibly reconfigure it, but whenever I go to settings, and click on TV and OneGuide, it takes me to the TV app and does not load. Please Help!

    nevermind, I completely powered down my cox cable box and that fixed it.

    Sooo Frustrated! Can not get picture with directv receiver.

    I never get to that option. In tv setup I hit the start button then it goes to "Looking for your picture..." never finds it so I hit skip. I never get any screen that sets up my tv or receiver.

    I go to the "tv & OneGuide" setting I have "OneGuide" and troubleshooting options but the "OneGuide" only has 1 option "Clear OneGuide". The troubleshooting has 3 options "HDMI: Connected", "Reset Tv settings", and "Surround Sound".

    Oneguide and Changing Channels

    Hello K22Dwag93,

    please try going following the steps below and let me know if it works for you.

    1) Go to the Settings app

    2) Select "TV & OneGuide"

    3) Select "OneGuide"

    4) Select "TV line-up"

    5) Enter your postcode

    6) Set your TV provider

    You should now be able to see all of the applicable TV listings in the OneGuide and also, control the change of channels with your voice.

    Bing search of Live TV doesn't work

    OneGuide is the function for what you are looking for. Either say "Xbox OneGuide" or "x" I believe within the TV app.
