No Sound from Live TV, EVERYTHING else sounds flawless.

I'd like to mention that I've called xbox support, tried various options through settings and from other people's advice here on the forums. I've reset my digital adapter box (time warner cable adapter since I don't have an actual HD Box, or HD DVR Box,
etc.) and I've hard reset my Xbox One console. I've read through other forums but I find my setup to be a "little" unique compared to others. As I mentioned I have a "Digital Adapter" from Time Warner Cable, a Dell Monitor with only 1 HDMI input and it has
NO Speakers, an Auvio Sound Box (NOT Surround, it outputs 2.1 Stereo sound), and my Xbox One console. Please keep in mind my Dell monitor has no built in speakers and has only 1 HDMI input. Here's the setup;

1) Xbox One console connected directly to Dell monitor via HDMI Cable

2) Time Warner Cable Digital Adapter connected directly to Xbox One console via HDMI Cable

3) Auvio Sound Box (2.1 Stereo Output) connected directly to Xbox One console via Optical Cable.

I've attached links to get a better understanding, it's a quite simple setup I believe, the problem is, I get sound from menu scrolling through xbox one, playing games, watching Netflix or any other apps, and blue ray dvd's. However, for the first time,
I attempted to setup Live TV yesterday, and although the picture is flawless, in HD, I get no audio whatsoever. I am desperate at this point, I do not want to spend money on a TV, or go back to a coax connection. Any and all advice is much appreciated, thanks

Screen freeze every 2 seconds with 2d message on cable box

I have the same issue as well. When I switch the tv sound output from sterio to surround sound the sound issue fixes for a little while but eventually reverts to no live tv sound, but sound for everything else. The screen freezing issue occurs no matter
what and is a huge pain. I have the Element-4605HDC time warner cable box and it works perfectly fine when plugged directly into the tv

 

No sound with live TV

Everything has been working fine, told Kinect to change the channel and then no more sound. I've got DircTV connected to Xbox via HDMI, then HDMI from Xbox to the TV. There is an optical cable from the TV to the sound bar.

I have sound from the Xbox (commands, games etc.) but not anything from DirecTV. If I move the HDMI in cable from the Xbox to the TV I have sound from DircTV so I don't think its the cables, plus everything was working.

Is there some crazy setting I'm missing or something else I need to reset?

 

Update...

Tried going to Xbox One Settings, Audio/Display Settings, turned off HDMI Audio and left Optical On Stereo, still didn't resolve the issue. Please help...

 

Solved! I wanted to post this as it's been 3 days at trying to resolve this issue. It was embarrassingly simple, but a chat representative helped me resolve it a few minutes ago. I tried a different HDMI cable. So if your setup looks like image # 4 in this

and you are receiving no audio, try a different HDMI cable. That resolved my issue, maybe this will help someone else.

 

SOLVED! Tried new HDMI cable, thanks to a chat representative suggesting it. Simple solution to a 3 day issue. If your setup is like image # 4 in the following link, and you're receiving no audio. Try a different HDMI cable, it solved my problem. Hope this
