No sound from headset

Hey, any help would be great but ever since the last xbox one update on the 15/8/2019 i have not been able to get my headset connected? Tried all the "fixes" like update controllers, update console, do a power cycle, re-sync controllers, etc. Iv had no luck
and the last solution is that my jack port is broken but its a bit of a coincidence if my two controllers jack ports have broke at the same time. And iv tried 3 different headsets and none are connecting! Any one else having this problem?

You may have a defected one, do you purchase a warranty to replace them?

Iv tried 3 headsets in 2 different controllers and none are working but all 3 work on other devices like my PC and phone. So they all work. They all worked in both my controllers before the update. it is not my devices.

Have you tried connecting a Headset adapter which bypasses the 3.5mm socket of the controller?

I would definitely recommend checking to see whether there are any updates for your headsets as I've had this cause issues for me before. Manufacturers should have instructions on how to do this.
