No sound coming from Xbox but sound coming from tv if i change input

-Select Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options.

-Select Video fidelity & overscan.

-Under Display, select HDMI.

Both the HDMI Audio and Optical Audio is set to "Stereo Uncompressed" in my XBOX Settings Menu.

Yes, I have tried connecting the Sound Bar to my TV. I don't have an Optical Input on my TV, so I used the Red / White RCA cables. The Sound Bar does not work from the TV - because it is not on the same HDMI input.

(I have 7 inputs on my TV: XBOX One is on Input 7, and my cable box is on Input 8. The RCA Inputs are on Input 4.) When I connect the Red / White RCA cables to my cable box though, the Sound Bar works perfectly.

This is what is confusing. HDMI sound and RCA sound is coming fine from the cable box. But, only HDMI sound is coming from the XBOX One. The Sound Bar is silent.

What happened is that the sound goes out in the middle of a match on Xbox Live, and the sound is out for the rest of the game, and then at the end of a match, the sound come back, but then it goes out when a new match begins. I tried changing the input on
the TV, I have the Xbox 360 on the HDMI input.

I have experienced this before and I believe its your tv so just change the input and the sound will come back.

Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Volume & audio output.

Select the Audio setup option under Advanced.

Run the audio test and check if there are any issues

If you don't hear anything, try this process.

1.- Disconnect the console for a few minutes from the power.

2.- Try plugging it into a different outlet.

3.- Being turned off, keep pressed the Synchronize button (this button is the one we use to link controls) and Eject button (this button is the one we use to remove the discs, in the All digital or Series S edition do the process omitting this button), and without releasing them turn on the console.

Continue pressing both buttons until the console emits two power on sounds, you can release the Sync and Eject buttons after the second power on tone.

The console should power on and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

Select the option to reset your Xbox to factory defaults (you can choose the option to keep your games and applications).
