    No Sound and Not Deleting Messages | Xbox One


    When I press home button and back to the game, there is no more sound in the game. I am using the latest update for console and the game.

    When I delete a Message, it do not delete, stay there. Any fix?

    I just reset the console from zero, and not solved.

    Have you tried going into settings Audio and changing the audio to headset and speaker?

    Please, try this:
    1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    2. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the power cord back in.

    3. Press and hold the BIND (controller sync button located on the left side of the console or bottom right if a one S or one X) and the EJECT button and then just press the Xbox button on the console once.

    4. Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

    7. To reset your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, use the D-pad and A button on your controller to select Reset this Xbox.

    9. When prompted, select Keep games and apps. This option will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

    Yesterday I ran into no audio when I loaded middle earth shadow of war. I didn't think any thing of it because I was downloading in the background, I thought that might have caused the problem. I was going to close and re open the game but after a minute
    or two the audio popped back on. Also my brother can't clear message from his account but I can and someone else on the forums has problems with messages as well. The xbox live status page doesn't show any problems but maybe there is. It just is a very
    small group of users experiencing problems. Remember that xbox live is seeing alot of users as of lately and that can cause issues with some services here and there.

    I had a problem with message icon indicating unread messages and the fix for me was to force stop on my xbox app on my mobile device and the restart the app. this fixed both the xbox 1 X and the xbox mobile app.
