  1. "No Signal" / unable to connect to monitor

    Hello --

I have been trying to connect my Xbox One X to a monitor, but despite using multiple different HDMI cables including a brand new one, using all available ports, and experimenting with multiple different monitors I have had no luck. The console itself appears to be powering on perfectly fine with no problems whatsoever, but both monitors I've tried have only given me a No Signal error. I've been looking at other people's support posts all day and none of them have helped, so I thought I'd post one myself. Any advice?

    :)

"No Signal" / unable to connect to monitor

Monitors are frequently made out of VESA spec, so Xboxes have a lot of trouble with them as they're meant for PC use

You should try it on a television

"No Signal" / unable to connect to monitor

    Hello!

I'm a Independent Advisor. I will be glad to help you.

Does the console malfunction only with monitors?

Have you tested it on TVs?

Try the following process, which clears the video parameters.

Turn off the console and disconnect the power cord to make sure the console is completely off.

    Plug it back in.

Press and hold the Pair button and the Eject button at the same time, then press the power button on the console.

Continue pressing the Pair button and Eject button for 10 to 15 seconds.

You will hear two "power on" tones after a few seconds.

You can release the Pair button and Eject button after the second power-up tone.

This will take you to the troubleshooter, there you will need to reset the console, you can choose the option to keep games and applications.

    Best Regards.

Xbox does not give signal on monitors only on TV

As I do on TV, I do it on the monitor only with an HDMI cable and I tried on 2 monitors, but it doesn't give me a signal, it only works when I connect it to the TV

    Xbox one s won't work in 1080

Thing is though, everything worked fine with the monitor before until I connected it to the tv. After that, for some reason it stopped working with the tv (on 1080 but works with 720) and now doesn't even work with the monitor on both 1080 and 720 (says
    checking signal then no signal).

Also tried different cables as well with same results.

Xbox not showing picture on a dvi monitor?

Check the settings on your monitor. Some monitors have specific settings that will only display HDCP signals or only signals that are not HDCP.
