No signal; tried troubleshooting

I am not getting any signal through my Xbox one (original). I have tried using a different port, a different cable, and a different tv. All register as no signal. I have done a full reset, an unplug, and the trick mentioned in the troubleshooting with the
eject/power button. Still the same result.

I actually have two consoles so I have also tried my setup with the other box, and it works like a dream. Is there anything else I should try?

Disc won't read. Just say's "Open tray". I Tried all the troubleshooting but no luck. I Just get annoyed! This is the third xbox I've been through!

First time I got the infamous RROD. I sent it away for repair. They sent me back a new one, bout year and a half, two years later the same problem! RROD. This time I was out of warranty. I bought a new Xbox elite, Resident Evil edition, and was told by MS
support that it didn't have the same issues. So I bought it. Now apparently due to cheap material the magnets in the CD drive have shifted and broken. It won't read discs.

I just sent it away for repair. Fortunately it is still under warranty. But they are just going to send me back an original Xbox 360. Although I'm not too bothered by this, I feel customers should be returned a new version console rather then have to face
another RROD or something similar every two years.
