No Signal Live TV X1 Xbox One Comcast Cisco RNG150N (could never get a signal)

Signal not coming through on Xbox one from Comcast Cisco stb RNG150N

Tried all of the trouble shooting methods on your site

    1. power cycle Xbox many times (Made sure it was a full shutdown and unplugged the xbox one)

    2. Power cycle STB many times

    3. Tried 5 HDMI cables (3 different brands) between cable box and xbox

    4. Waiting a really really long time

    5. Resetting the one guide

    6. Plunging the cable direct to tv (no issues)

    7. Trying both 1080i and 720p channels

    8. Clicking skip on the one guide and configuring the STB for control (it will control the STB but the signal never shows)

    9. tried support chat they referred me to 2 online docs and said I should send it in for repair

Note: I plugged a Roku into the HDMI in on the Xbox and I do get a signal. Works fine

Anyone have it working with this config. Also i have another type of HD cable box. it's a tiny one from Comcast. i tried it as well with no luck.

STB Xfinity Comcast RNG150N (by cisco)

    Vizio Soundbar

    thanks in advance

One Guide Setup with Comcast/Xfinity/Cisco RNG200N

Hey I'm having the same problem but I can't get it to ask me 'manually' for the model number. I have the same Cisco RNG150N through comcast and I can't get it to trigger. Comcast and Cisco goes through straight to the check, with the "Cisco RNG150N" taking
me to verify "Cisco". I can't do a more specific option. I'm in the DC area so I bet there's a bunch of Cisco RNG150Ns out here.

  3. Xbox one tv not getting signal from comcast box

I'm not able to set up my live tv because it keeps saying "we're sorry your signal was lost", but it has never picked up a signal to begin with. I have the high speed hdmi cord that came with the xb1 plugged j to my cable box and the "hdmi in" port on my
xb1. I have comcast and the cable box I have is **** rng150n. I've tried all the troubleshooting with no luck. Reboots. Unplug everything. Changing tv resolutions to match up with cable box. Nothing has worked. Help please

ok I found a solution.. not the best but it does work

I had a HDMI powered splitter laying around (J-Tech Digital JTD-MINI-1x2SP 2 Port 1X2 Powered Hdmi Super Mini Splitter for Full Hd 1080P with 3D Capability) it must boost the signal a little because it works fine now.

I also tried a KVM style HDMI but it didn't work (J-Tech Digital JTD3DSP0301 3-Port High Speed HDMI Switch with IR Wireless Remote and AC Power Adapter)

    I hope this helps someone

Kinect sends multiple (duplicate) digits to my Verizon box when changing channels.

I just upgraded from day one to elite. Day one worked fine. But mine is a Comcast RNG150N. Send double the signals. I've tried old remote code and multiple others. Everything either doesn't do anything or sends the signal twice. I do a lot of watching
on it and this is a let down.

    hdmi splitter/cable box/TV/Xbox One

Curious to hear if the SithLordBlack was successful. Bought a SSIG 1x2 HDMI Ampified Splitter and both TV and Xbox One could not get signal. Checked HDMI cables and they all work if Xfinity X1 device is hooked directly to Xbox One but didn't work through
splitter. In fact, couldn't even get signal on TV so neither split worked. Spent $90 on it at MicroCenter so it's going back. Saw a Rocketfish Splitter at Best Buy I may try next. Please let me know if you have had success splitting the signal. Trying
to split Comcast signal so wifey can watch TV normally through AVR or I can watch football though Xbox One with the NFL App.

    X1 Platform/Xbox One Set Up

I have the X1 Comcast DVR box too. Trying to set it up with XBOX ONE. The HDMI Out from the comcast box is going into the HDMI IN for XBOX ONE. I see no signal. Comcast confirms me that they are able to ping the box and signal is fine. Am I missing a setting
that I have to do in XBOX ONE to make it working? Asking for help?
