  1. "No Signal" in not-full HD TV´s

I have been using my xbox 360 on the same TV for two years and i havent found any problem until now. A couple of days ago I accidentally press the open button on my xbox and I turned off before it eject the disc. The next day I tried to use my xbox and it
didnt show anything, it turned on and everything, but it didnt show anything in the TV. I change the HDMI cable, and nothing. My PS3 works, but no my xbox.

I tried in my parents TV (which is a full hd tv) and it works perfectly. There I change the resolution to 1080i/720p/1024x768 and nothing. I have reset the resolution holding the "On" botton, turned off the console disconnect it, and nothing. I cant be the
only one. Is there a solution? On the customer support they told me to send it to repair, but it is too old and i will have to paid the fix... and it works!!! but not only on my kind of TV. Does anyone knows a solution?

    :)

  2. Xbox 360 S can't display through HDMI "No Signal" in not-full HD TV´s :(

I have a Xbox 360 S which when connected through HDMI, doesn't show anything, the TV reads "No Signal", it's a 24" Veon TV. It displays through the component cable though, but that's the stock cable which doesn't show HD. I've tried other HDMI cables,
all don't display anything, just "No Signal" etc. Also did the reset (y +RT), didn't work. I've tried other devices through HDMI in the same TV, all work. Can someone PLEASE help? I don't want to give it in for repairs, that's my last-resort. Thanks guys,

Hi, if you connect the xbox to the tv that is does show a display on, then go to settings/console settings/display and disable display discovery. Then connect the xbox to the tv you are getting no display on do you then get a display at all ?

I have an Xbox series s with a 26 inch HD ready TV from 2006. The image looks pixelated and blurry, with washed out colours, even on Xbox 360 and original Xbox games.

Hi Daniel. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

You aren't going to get the best picture quality out of a HD Ready TV, even in older games. Technically, a HD Ready TV isn't even considered HD. It can accept a HD signal but the screen cannot display it in HD. Full HD (1080p) is the bare minimum for modern consoles, anything below that is going to look pixelated/blurry.

You might be able to improve the picture quality in the TV settings, but for help with that I suggest reading the TV manual contacting the manufacturer.

My best advice would be to consider getting a newer, more modern TV if you care about image quality. 4K TVs get cheaper all the time, and I'm certain there's still Full HD TVs on sale in most markets. Please reach back if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

Hello, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

My name is welcome to the community.

Hello Andyda8, unfortunately it is not possible, you have to leave your TV set to full HD (1080p) so that it can recognize the signal from xbox.

The Xbox One S, model that came next is that despite not having 4k for games, makes emulation of some games in 4k by interpolation.
